George L. Schank, ARM
President
George Schank, President of the National Insurance Advisors, Inc. has 23
years of risk management and commercial insurance experience,
including prior account management experience with insurance brokers:
Sedgwick, Johnson & Higgins, and Marsh, providing services for the
construction, hospitality, and healthcare industries.
During the last 14 years, George’s national account experience includes working with public and private entities headquartered in Central Florida.
Controlled Insurance Programs (CIP's) have been George’s focus for the last 8 years. He has served as a senior advisor for a rolling wrap-up for a multi state health care organization and a public school in Florida. His recent experience has been in high-rise condos, condo hotels, and mixed use projects for both work comp and GL/GL-Only wrap-up. His current role includes managing insurance program marketing, stewardship, and resource utilization for our clients. This responsibility includes claims, loss control, and administrative functions of the owner controlled insurance programs. George specializes in identifying the client’s needs for customized risk management programs that govern the total cost of risk exposure for the client’s construction projects. Examples include financial guarantee products, contractor surety wraps, and project completion guarantees.
George attended Bob Jones University with a major in marketing. He earned his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 1995 and has been an active member in the North Central Florida chapter of the Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) since 1986. George is a past-present member of the International Council of Central Florida and is an active board member in various local chambers and community groups. |
